Newborn Home Visiting Program: A free program for families that provides an in-home nurse visit for mother and newborn at your convenience Visits allow the child to be weighed and checked for any health concerns. The nurse can answer any questions and provide information on a variety of topics.
Health Tracks Program: North Dakota’s Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) Program
A free program for children 0-21 years of age that are on Medical Assistance with no recipient liability. Health Tracks is a preventive health check-up to discuss health concerns and available community resources.
The goal is preventing childhood illnesses or disabilities and identifying children’s and young adults’ problems early on before they become severe and disabling. Health Tracks Screening is completed by a Registered Nurse.
Richland County Health Department is committed to the safety of our children while riding in a vehicle. The department has a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician on staff that can help you in determining the proper child restraint for your child, how to install it correctly in the vehicle, how to properly secure the child in the restraint, and any other passenger safety issues you may have.
