RICHLAND COUNTY FAMILY PLANNING clinic and satellite clinics located at SARGENT COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH AND  RANSOM COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH assist women and men to understand and take responsibility for their reproductive health through education, counseling, medical services, and birth control methods.

  • Medical Services:
    • Telemedicine appointments available
    • Gynecological examination, which includes breast and pelvic exams
    • Pregnancy Testing with a diagnosis
    • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and diagnosis treatment, follow up and referral
  • Available Birth Control Methods:
    • Contraceptive Ring (NuvaRing)
    • Birth Control Pills
    • Contraceptive Injection (Depo)
    • IUD (Mirena, Liletta, Paragard)
    • Emergency Contraception (Plan B)
    • Implant (Nexplanon) – not available through RCHD but can provide referrals
  • Education On:
    • Abstinence, safe sex, natural family planning
    • Sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS
    • Hormonal and non-hormonal contraception, emergency contraception
    • Reproductive health issues, pregnancy, nutrition, and infertility.
  • Counseling On:
    • Contraception
    • Natural Family Planning
    • Problem pregnancy and infertility
