Richland County Health Department offers free confidential HIV and Hepatitis C Testing and Counseling for those clients at risk for these diseases. Both tests are done with a finger stick blood sample. The HIV antibody test detects the presence of antibodies to the HIV virus. The Hepatitis C antibody test detects the presence of antibodies to the Hepatitis C virus.
